Solar Eclipse - 1st August 2008

World's smallest snake

Scientists have identified the world's smallest snake, about 4 inches long and as thin as spaghetti. The new species is named Leptotyphlops carlae. It is not venomous, eats termites and termite larvae but little is known about its behavior.
